The Lounge in partnership with Air Transat at Cancun International Airport is a small but sufficient lounge to meet the needs of travelers. Order hot food, a drink at the bar, or relax in the resting room.

Access & Location
This lounge is accessible for those with Priority Pass. Using Priority Pass through my Capital One Venture X is how we accessed the lounge.
Follow the signs for the business/VIP lounges once past security. It is located near gate 53 in Terminal 4. Airside, at Cancun international airport. Take the elevator or stairs down to level 0. It is immediately to your right. It is right next to the much nicer Plaza Premium lounge, which you should definitely visit instead if you have an American Express Platinum Card.
Amenities

Beverages
The bar has a wide array of liquors and is manned by a bartender. My first request was a Moscow mule, which they hadn’t heard of and didn’t have ginger beer or ale to make. This seemed to be a common issue throughout Cancun though. I decided on a gin and tonic since that wasn’t available.
The bar also has the water bottles, not cold. The fridges are well stocked with beers and sodas. There are two varieties of Modelo and two of Corona. They are located under the food counter/coffee station. There are automatic coffee machines, but traditional coffee can also be ordered.

Food
There are a few snacks readily available, such as cut fruit, pastries, sandwiches, chips, nuts, and vegetables.

Hot food is available to order via QR code. The menu is locally influenced, with chicken tacos, chicken in salsa, and rice and beans. The tacos looked good, but I was still full from a heavy breakfast that morning at the Hilton Cancun.

There is also spaghetti for those tired of Mexican food or wanting a vegetarian option. Upon ordering it, we found out you still get a bit of unwanted spice in there too. Do not recommend it.
Restrooms & Showers
There are restrooms within the lounge and two showers available. The showers are within the restrooms, no further amenities were in there but may be available upon request at reception. The shower is a nice amenity if you are coming directly from the beach.

Seating
There is bar height and dining height seating around the bar. Café style chairs and tables are closer to the food area. Armchairs are in one section, while loungers are in a darker room to the right to rest in.

If you plan on trying to take a nap here, bring earplugs, as the rest room is still very open to the other lounge spaces.
There is also a tv room. There is no business center. Although you could see a conference room through a glass divider, it was marked reserved for Turkish airlines, perhaps just need to ask at reception. There are charging stations throughout. There is a board with upcoming flight information posted. Free WiFi is available and super fast.

Bottom Line
For a drink and snacks or a quick lunch, The Lounge in partnership with Air Transat is a fine stop. However, the cramped space may make it more difficult to rest or get work done. You’ll be especially jealous of the lounge next door, but this one still gets the job done.
