Plaza Premium Lounge Cancún Terminal 4 (VIP Lounge by MERA) Review

The Plaza Premium lounge at Cancun International Airport, Terminal 4, offers exceptional food and drink for a very pleasant retreat before your flight.
Lounge Access
Access is complimentary for American Express Platinum and Black Cardholders, along with two guests. Cardholders of the Canadian American Express Gold and Rose card or Dragonpass card also have complimentary access to the lounge. You may also purchase access for up to 6 hours. Access for 3 hours is $49, 4 hours is $55, and 6 hours is $75. Prices are in USD.
Unfortunately access for Venture X cardholders ended March 1 2025. This is not one of the Plaza Premium lounges that is included with Priority Pass. Next door is the priority pass lounge, called The Lounge.
Location
Follow the signs for the business/VIP lounges.
It is located near gate 53 in Terminal 4. Airside, at Cancun International airport. Take the elevator or stairs down to level 0.
Food & Drinks
Full bar with a great bartender. After a week of all-inclusive resorts, this was finally a proper martini. Better bar experience than our stays at Xcaret Arte and the Hilton Cancun.
Snack bar where you can put together a mix of nuts. Starters include a salad bar, cold cuts of ham and cheese, and caprese skewers. International food such as teriyaki noodles,

A spacious and well designed lounge with a. Variety of lounge and dining areas in elegant neutral tones with pops of wood accents and jewel tones.
