About Natalie
Traveler, writer,
points obsessive
I’ve visited nearly 40 countries, saved over $50,000 on flights and hotels using points, and built this site to prove that luxury travel isn’t just for people with unlimited budgets — it’s for anyone willing to learn the system.
How a Florida girl ended up in
business class around the world
I grew up in the Florida Keys — one of the most beautiful places on earth, which probably made me want to see everything else even more. I started traveling seriously in my twenties, booking the cheapest seats I could find and making it work.
Then I discovered points. I watched someone board a business class flight with only $38 out of pocket in taxes while I sat in the middle seat of economy. I needed to know how that worked. A few months later, I was the one with the champagne.
Since then I’ve booked Swiss Business Class from Zurich to Miami on Capital One Miles, Etihad Business to Singapore, Turkish Airlines business, Egyptair business, and a Hawaii trip for my family that saved us over $10,000 — all through a system I’ve built and refined through years of real bookings.
Where’s Natalie Now? exists because the information to do this is out there, but it’s scattered, jargon-heavy, and hard to apply to a real trip. I’ve done the work so you don’t have to.
What I actually know
and how I know it
Business class — booked on points
Every premium flight review on this site is from a real trip I booked with points. Swiss, Etihad, Turkish, Egyptair — I’ve sat in the seat, eaten the food, and written the honest review.
Luxury hotels at a fraction of the price
Grand Hyatt Kauai, Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, and dozens more — booked with Hyatt, Marriott, and IHG points. I know which redemptions deliver value and which ones don’t.
Credit card strategy, deeply researched
Capital One, Chase, Amex, Citi — I hold and actively use the cards I review. Every recommendation is based on personal experience with real spending and real redemptions.
~40 countries, firsthand
Australia, Japan, Greece, Egypt, Abu Dhabi, France, Switzerland, Bali, Turkey, and more. Every destination guide on this site is written from a trip I actually took.
Florida Keys local
Over a decade living in the Keys means the Florida guides here go deeper than any travel magazine — the local spots, the best dive operators, and when to go vs. stay home.
Recognized by major publications
Featured in Travel + Leisure, First for Women, and U.S. News & World Report for points strategy and travel expertise.
Not hypothetical. These are real trips.
Every example below is a booking I made personally — the flight, the cost, the program used.
Lie-flat seat, four-course meal, real champagne
Capital One Miles → Avianca LifeMiles · Out of pocket: taxes only
Welcome champagne, lie-flat seat, world-class service
Aeroplan points · Significant savings vs. cash price
Two luxury resorts — booked entirely on hotel points
Hyatt + Marriott points · Total family hotel savings
The trip that started the obsession
Miles booking · Business class to Egypt for the price of economy
Three things this site
does really well
